Gestão de infodemias: uma nova frente de trabalho em meio a ofensiva desinformativa sanitária

O texto discute a crescente relevância da gestão de infodemias diante da proliferação de desinformação em saúde, destacando o investimento da Organização Mundial da Saúde na consolidação desse campo por meio da formação de profissionais especializados. Inicialmente, são respondidas duas questões necessárias para a discussão: “o que é infodemia?” e “o que é a gestão de infodemia?”. Em seguida, são apresentadas iniciativas desse órgão global de saúde voltadas para a formação de profissionais em gestores de infodemia, e os possíveis impactos dessas iniciativas pelo mundo. Por fim, o texto propõe uma reflexão sobre os desafios conceituais e operacionais envolvidos, chamando atenção para a biologização do fenômeno, além da ausência de discussões centrais como a soberania informacional.
