This experience report presents the reflections developed by a psychologist on her work as professor in a medicine course, more specifically in practical activities performed in a child education school with students attending the 5th semester in medicine. By means of discussions about the Diretrizes Curriculares Nacionais do Curso de Graduação em Medicina (national curriculum guidelines for the undergraduate course in medicine), the report emphasizes the diversification of the scenarios of practice, particularly in the area of health education. Finally, it presents the initial results achieved with that experience: the possibility of the students learning inter-professionally in different scenarios and the development of whole health care, besides widening the students’ regard for their own education, thus contributing towards a critical, reflexive and humanistic medicine.
