BISOUS: An information and communication technology tools for the management of SUS in Maceio

A major difficulty the city manager is the Single Health System (SUS) is to monitor, audit and manage a large number of visits / procedures performed. Data from these visits, in most cases, are generated by systems that do not communicate, and or recorded on paper. In this context, the compiling of these data becomes inefficient, with common losses and inconsistencies. This article presents the experience of Maceió Municipal Health Department to consolidate and give the information transparency of its public health system through the BioSUS system. It is a web system that maintains centralized data, with the ability to compile and make available the informaçõesregistradas. Such a system uses digital biometrics for verification and validation in real time, the services provided by the public health system.Downloads
