This paper presents ManagerTools, an application for asset organization in hospitals andphysician practices based on radio frequency identifiers (RFIDs). It addresses the entireequipment inventory process in the Medical Sterilization Centers (Centros Médicos deEsterilização - CMEs) because the chip is resistant to the high operating temperature of anautoclave. This tool is innovative because it is individualized to the current procedures (ifused), generally using tags that are annually replaced (or not). As a result of research anddevelopment supported by FINEP, the tool ensures inter-domain portability (use) because thesystem is fully adaptable (i.e., to safety assets and weapons management) and uses a webinterface.Downloads
