To present the theoretical and conceptual research aspects that aim mainly to study, in a historical and comparative perspective, the relationships between international health organizations and their programs and Brazilian health care policies, especially campaigns for eradicating diseases (malaria, smallpox and poliomyelitis). The research is part of a line of investigation about the history of global health and public policies and of an effort to reassess the long and vigorous international interaction of Brazilian public health which, with its actors and agendas, operate in a network outside the circuit of Brazilian diplomacy and were ignored by it as well as by studies of international relations.Downloads
