This study aims to describe the bibliometric indicators of scientific production on the use of gamification in nursing education. This is a descriptive study, a bibliometric review, with a quantitative approach. The searches were carried out in the Web of Science, Scopus, PubMed, and Virtual Health Library databases. The bibliographic sample consisted of 328 articles. When applying Bradford's Law, it was found that 25.15% of the journals that published the most accounted for 81 publications; in relation to Lotka's Law, the 10 authors with the highest number of publications produced 32 works. In Zipf’s Law, a higher incidence of the keywords “Humans,” “learning,” “education nursing,” “gamification,” “adolescent,” “nursing,” and “motivation” was observed. These keywords were used more frequently in 2020 and 2021 compared to the other years analyzed. Through this review, the importance of the subject for the growth of gamification was verified, as a technological and methodological innovation aimed at education and care in nursing education.
